A visit to Brave & Maiden sticks with you. Between our sweeping vineyard views, our stunning architecture, and the personal wine experience we’ve always provided, we are proud to continue our renowned guest experiences at the estate. Join us to personally discover our limited production wines right on the property on which they were sustainably grown and meticulously crafted.
At this time, we are able to offer our standard 45 minute guided tasting, by appointment. With our tasting appointments booking 2-3 weeks in advance for weekdays, and 3-4 weeks in advance for weekends, we encourage you to book your appointment well in advance.
Appointments are taken from 10:00 am to 3:30pm.
Brave & Maiden Estate is located just off Highway 246 between Santa Ynez and Solvang, just a few minutes south of Los Olivos.
We may not be able to accommodate parties which are more than 15 minutes late to their scheduled appointment. Reservations must be cancelled with 48 hour advanced notice. If a reservation does not show, tasting fees that were charged will not be refunded.
What to Expect
With COVID-19 an ongoing fact of life, we have implemented several protocols to keep our guests and staff as safe as possible. We’re all in this together, so we appreciate every guest’s commitment to these expectations:
Santa Barbara County Public Health mandates the use of universal face coverings indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be required upon entry and public areas such as restrooms. Mask may be removed once you are seated.
Seating may be either indoors or outdoors (weather dependent), so please dress for the weather and be prepared with sun protection if necessary.
Seatings will be limited to 60 minutes to allow sufficient time for sanitation between guests.
Groups will be limited to no more than six guests, and children and non-tasters are included in the guest count.
We are not allowing outside food or drink to enter our property at this time. You can pre-order with your reservation a cheese and charcuterie plate prepared by our catering partner.
If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, or have had exposure to someone with symptoms, notify our tasting room prior to arrival. We will happily reschedule your appointment.
While Brave & Maiden complies with current health and safety laws, directives, and rules and regulations, it cannot prevent you from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing Brave & Maiden’s services or premise. Therefore, if you choose to utilize Brave & Maiden’s services and/or enter onto the premise, you may be exposing yourself to and/or increasing your risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.
Children & Dogs
We are a family and dog friendly winery, however, due to the intimacy and nature of our tasting experience, we ask that your children be supervised at all times, and they must remain seated with your party at the table. Please indicate at the time of your reservation if you are visiting with children and how many children are in your party. We do not allow large outside toys, ball, bikes, scooters or similar items at our facility. We love dogs, but we ask that they are on a leash at all times and not disruptive to others tasting experience. Guests with dogs will be seated outside.
Our trade tasting policy applies to employees of wineries and trade partners who carry Brave & Maiden wines. You may request a trade visit by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org or calling (805) 693-2989, ext 1. Trade tasting appointments are available Sunday-Friday.
